Smithsburg Elementary School or SES is a place to learn. Its a average size school so theres 3 teachers in every grade so its not to big or small. Every Teacher there is pretty nice. Its a geart School.

This school is the most closed off school to parents that we've ever had our children in. Parents are not really welcome in classes except for once a month during a specified time, so it's hard to know how the teachers are actually doing when they're not on performance. I have really hated not being as involved with my children at their school since we moved here. However, I do feel like they're getting a good enough education. My kids have had not so great teachers and fantastic ones. It's kind of a mixed bag. It wasn't as great of a school as everyone hyped it up to be, but it's not bad. Would I refer someone else to it? Maybe, but there are definitely better ones.
